Ungodly Hour

I never was sure why they referred to early morning hours as "ungodly hours," as most people I know with fully-expressed insomnia tend to be most productive during these early morning hours, but I guess language is something people toss about lightly, never realizing there are people like me who look at what they say, how they say it, why they say it, what they are not saying, and use each word as a puzzle piece in developing my four-dimensional idea of who they are.
From the comments I received (thanks by the way, keep them coming, both positive and negative), I find solice. Victor Frankly, a doctor who was in the Nazi concentration camps, developed an entire theory of psychology based on purpose, called Logotherapy. Basically, if people had purpose, even if it was running water basins to the guards or building additional structures, they lived longer and thrived (if such a word can be used within such a deplorable context). Purpose provides comfort, especially to those of us who may have a difficult time with accepting a relationship with a higher power of sorts. It's one of the things structured religion gives people that calm the masses.
I need to find a way to categorize my blog entries, something I hope to have in place shortly - from personal, to waxing and waning on random topics, to health only, to professional. I am learning the capabilities of this system each day, for instance you don't have to have a google email account to read my blog! The fact my computer locks up randomly every 4-5 minutes makes it exciting too, almost like a stop clock ticking in my ear...
I plan to post again later, hopefully more focused and concise.... Lisa

Trials and Tribulations: First posting

Trials and Tribulations: First posting

First posting

I decided to get into the blogging business, as I realize that the internet is a new medium for information, support and interaction. It's time for me to get on-board with that. I am not arrogant enough to believe that my words have inherent value or my experience will be a catalyst for change in someone's life, but I also know that by reading others' words and seeing other people let me into their lives, I have been impacted.
I look forward to learning about myself and my process while sharing a piece of me with those people who read this. Lisa
